Rick Tamno

Rick Tamno serves as Principal Consultant of Tamno Globalectics Policy and Literacy LLC, where his work centers on advancing literacy equity, global education, youth development, and community-centered policy initiatives.

His experience spans nonprofit leadership, international development, and educational advocacy. Guided by a globalectic framework that values reciprocal learning, African-centered educational perspectives, and cross-cultural collaboration, Tamno works with government agencies, international nonprofit stakeholders, and educational institutions to develop strategic initiatives that expand educational opportunity and promote sustainable community impact.

Tamno is also the Founder and Executive Director of the J.C. Tamno Books Foundation, a literacy-focused nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing educational equity through book access, youth authorship initiatives, and global literacy engagement.
